Preparing for Rain

As you may know, Stephen Kendrick is the co-writer (with his brother Alex) of FIREPROOF and one of the movie’s producers. What you may not know is that one of his roles as a Senior Associate Pastor at Sherwood Baptist Church is leading the church’s active prayer ministry.

With the release of FIREPROOF yet another day closer to reality(!), we asked Stephen for ways we all can be praying for this film. Here are some of his thoughts:
  • Pray for the film output and transfer, which is occurring right now, to go smoothly and be great.
  • Pray for the Lord to help us find right date and the right number of screens for the movie’s release this fall.
  • Pray that God will bless FIREPROOF with power, inspiration, and grace so that lives will be changed by it.
We’ll keep you updated on prayer requests. Thanks for your commitment to being part of the FIREPROOF team!

I have watched the trailer for the Fireproof movie several times and I am so excited and can't wait for this movie to hit theatres. My husband who isn't saved (yet) even seems interested. So, please pray for him, his name is Ron. I will be praying for all who are involved in this movie, that the spirit of God would lead in every single decision being made.
To Christ Jesus be the glory!
God Bless,
Brenda Rutherford

Hi! My name is Rhonda Arias, and I am a missionary in Chile, SA. We have greatly enjoyed FTG and Flywheel, and are looking forward to Fireproof. However, I have a comment I would like to make about the Spanish translation. How may I contact you in a less-public way?

Thanks and God bless,
Rhonda

Keep up the solid work. Your ministry is an inspiration to me, and shows what can be done with a commitment to creative and prayerful media ministry.

I felt so blessed to speak with Jim McBride a few weeks ago while he was visiting with my good friends Mitch & Rhonda Temple at Focus on the Family. I can't wait for God to use me and my wife Elizabeth, with the opportunity to help in any way that we can in Montgomery, AL. God bless you for Flywheel, Facing the Giants and now Fireproof. All of you are such a blessing to so many!
