No. 1 Indie Film of 2008!

You read the headline correctly: FIREPROOF indeed was the top independent film release of 2008. The website Defamer found this to be mind-boggling:

“The year-end tally features FIREPROOF ... atop an impressive pile of awards hopefuls including Slumdog Millionaire, Milk, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Rachel Getting Married and even The Visitor, whose renown as this year’s preeminent indie sensation nevertheless was good for only $9.4 million since opening last April. FIREPROOF accrued more than three times as much since the end of September, never expanding beyond 905 screens.”

Wasn’t there a movie a couple of years back that wondered what is impossible with God? The answer is nothing!

Amen and congratulations! I look forward to all that God has planned for Sherwood in the future. You are making an impact, filling a long empty hole, and reaching the goal that many have set out to achieve. God Bless all of you! The world is taking notice, and with recognition like that (being no1), they don't have a choice! :)

Hello all, just to say that I cried my eyes out only by watching the trailer. I can’t wait until it gets here in Brazil. We watched Facing the Giants with our bible study group and was… perfect. I don’t have words to explain what it did to us! God bless you all, to keep doing these movies. I’ve just got thank you!

My husband and are I very excited for this movie to come out on DVD and will loan it out, I'm sure! This is a movie worth sharing. This is by far the best movie we have ever seen. We generally don't spend money to go to a movie in the theater, but this was a great date for us. :)

Praise God for the impact it is having and that people are still seeing it! I was so surprised to learn it is STILL in theaters! Wow! God bless you and your work.

What a great movie. My husband and I went to see it on the day it opened. I fell in love with the movie. Such a powerful message and great story. Since then we have purchased the event package.
We own a 60ft rebuilt Fire Truck
named Fire Up Freedom. It has everything on the truck including 4 Flat screens for showing FIREPROOF!
We are turning the Fire truck into an Outreach ministry. A Mobile movie theater! Serving right now the Phoenix Valley. We want to bring it to churchs to show the movie or just to the park to make an event. God has change our marriage and if we can be a way to help others we want to do it.
