Atop the Charts

FIREPROOF continues to be the most popular DVD available at Christian stores. It also was No. 5 in general retail stores and it was No. 7 in rentals in the most recent industry statistics.

Now, The Love Dare has returned to the top of the New York Times bestsellers list for paperback advice books ... and, as of earlier this morning, it was No. 3 in the overall books list on Amazon.

While the Blog is rarely silenced, this comes close. All we can say is Wow! If your marriage is one of the countless that has been changed by the movie or the book, please let us know.

I absolutely LOVED FIREPROOF the movie. It was an awesome blessing. My fiance rented it for us to watch on Valentine's Day but we didn't get to see it until after church yesterday. It really resonated in my spirit and reminded me about the true importance and reason why the covenant was created. All too often two people forget that for love to remain in a relationship it takes work. The same way a farmer can't just place a seed in the soil and jus hope for it to bloom without watering is the same way that a couple cannot think that their relationship will continue to grow without prayer and communication. I have told at least 3 other people about the movie and we plan on watching it at out young couples night at church, God willing, the end of March. I want to buy the book, get the journal, and do the dare!! God is GOOD!!

WHEN I SAW THE MOVIE "FIREPROOF" FOR THE FIRST TIME, I WANTED TO RENT IT FOR MY FIANCEE AND I. I WAS SO INSPIRED AND I HAVE NO DENOMINATION TO ANYTHING. I EVEN STARTED TO BELIEVE THAT THERE WAS HOPE. "FIREPROOF" IS FAR THE BEST FILM I'VE SEEN IN MY MANY YEARS OF WATCHING MOVIES AND SEEING WHAT OTHER COUPLES GO THROUGH. IN THIS WORLD THAT IS SO CORRUPT. I SUGGEST A MOVIE LIKE IT BE MADE TO OPEN THE EYES OF MANY THROUGH THIS CORRUPT WORLD. MY NAME IS BERNARD VITUG I'M 28 YEARS IN SAN DIEGO AND I WILL SPREAD THE WORD AROUND.

Phyllis and Harris, God is truly answering your prayer for this movie! I was able to show it to several clients on DVD and they were very touched by the message and invited others and wanted to see it again. As a result of the film, one client asked for Christian counseling to overcome an addictive behavior.
When I bragged that I knew Phyllis from Alpharetta, one client said, "Sure and I'm good friends with Kirk Cameron!"
Blessings, Karen Williams

My husband and I watched "Fireproof" together on Valentine's day. The next morning he went to church with me (unusual), and then mentioned that he would make the calls necessary to put plans in motion for a major expenditure of money that I've felt to be much needed.

WOW!

I enjoyed the movie FIREPROOF very much. I am working on getting our married children to see it as well. I know they would benefit from it. The one issue I had about the movie is that I thought Caleb's wife should have had to apologized for lusting after the doctor. This was as much a sin to me as Caleb's attitude toward his mother.

My husband and I and our daughter and son-in-love had opportunity to see this movie on the 18th. I bought it and the Love Dare book on the 21st. Our son and his girlfriend are living together and have a daughter. It is our desire that they live according to the Lord's desire. We were able to watch this movie with them today! We gave my son the Love Dare book and much to our surprise, he not only willingly accepted it but he committed to implementing it in his and his girlfriends life!!!! God is so Good and I thank you for listening to Him and making this movie!!! God Bless all of you!!!

This movie was just recommended to me by a pastor in Colorado. He has suggested that my husband and watch it together. I am really fearful to ask him to watch it with me because it is going to really frustrating for him because he is dead set on NOT reconciling our 18 year marriage. He broke it off a year ago because he had fallen out of love with me. We both have our shortcomings as human beings and have made lots of mistakes. But the vows have always meant something to me and thats why giving in to his desire for a divorce feels so wrong. However, I cant beat a dead horse. I have spent a year in prayer and fervently seeking God in this. I have questioned if God really wants us to stay married or divorce. I was thinking that HE would 'fix' us if HE wanted us to stay together. So I've drawn conclusions that may or may not be wrong. Its been over a year and he is nowhere near reconciliation. So I was thinking it may be time to accept the inevitable, but I really dont know what HIS plans are. My pastor and church have been praying for me and our marriage. But my husband is stubborn and steadfast in his decision. I have poured out my heart out several many times in person and in letter to my husband...he is simply not interested in continuing on in a marriage because he lacks faith and hope. He no longer has the desire to try and has turned his back on God. He is depressed and so very unhappy in his very hopeless situation - we have been separated in mind and in living arrangements. He originally left our family to move in with his sister, but then called me back up to move into my basement because he had nowhere else to go when she decided to move out of that house. Because he is in so much debt with student loans and works for barely above minimum wage, he cannot move out of our basement. He has separated himself from our family and lives in a self-contained basement with outside access living a solitary life without any unity. Some think Im crazy for sheltering him, I am just trying to practice Luke 6:27-28 and be obedient to Jesus. I know Im being used but I am not a naive fool, for its humility that drives my actions with him; humility for the Savior I worship.

My prayer is that God will prepare both of our hearts in order to view this movie with purpose. It is to yield to God's will which is the most important to me in all of this. I hope I can bring honor to my LORD in making the right decisions after watching the movie. I will post back here on the aftermath of watching the video.
