Sorry for the last-minute nature of this post, but we have confirmed that Kirk Cameron will be a guest on the O’Reilly Factor tonight (Tuesday) at 8 p.m. EST on Fox News. They will be talking about a certain movie called FIREPROOF. (We’ve heard good things about it!)

Mr. O'Reilly asked Kirk some questions concerning the culture war and specifically the fight over the definition of marriage. I thought Kirk did a good job in answering those questions from a theologically based perspective. Bill also gave a nice overview of the movie and asked Kirk why it was so successful. Kirk said basiclly people in marriages that were struggling or failing were looking for hope. Many of his emails he said described a wonderful transformation that was occuring in many of those marriages after seeing hope via this movie. He also stated that Hollywood was absolutely ignoring a huge potential market by the 84% of Americans who identify themselves as Christian. Although the interview question segment was relatively brief, I thought it was excellent.
