A Cool Comparison

Now that we’re in November, some radio stations are actually starting to play Christmas music! Perhaps no movie touches hearts more at Christmastime than It’s a Wonderful Life.

We bring that up because Ray Nothstine brought up that movie in his online review of FIREPROOF. Take a look:

“In many ways FIREPROOF is reminiscent of Hollywood’s Golden era, when Frank Capra directed Mr. Smith Goes to Washington and It’s a Wonderful Life. Capra’s films were known for stressing a strong personal ethic, for displaying virtue in the face of evil and for triumphant endings. FIREPROOF has all of that as well as an unconcealed Christian worldview.”

What do you think of that comparison? Is there another movie of which FIREPROOF reminds you? Let us know …

Fireproof was an amazing film. My wife and I are 23 years old and we have only been married for 6 months. Currently, we are pastoring a church in Fort Yukon, Alaska. We went into Fairbanks to attend a ministers meeting and we saw Fireproof at the theater. What an amazing portrayal of God's love in action! We loved this movie and can't wait to buy it and watch it again.
