After a bit of delay caused by an unexpected removal from Blog world, followed by an overwhelming amount of follow-up to an amazing opening weekend (thanks to all of you!), the FIREPROOF Blog has returned!
Now that the applause has faded, it is good to be back. We will try to get caught up on posts and comments over the course of the weekend (and speaking of weekends, that is a great time to take a friend or a couple with you to see FIREPROOF).
For now, we have been amazed, touched, and overwhelmed by the stories you have shared on FireprooftheMovie.com. One thing that would be great as we get caught up is if you have blogged about FIREPROOF since it opened, post a link in the comments area. It will be great to read.
Again, thanks for all you have done and continue to do to help FIREPROOF make an impact on marriages across the country!

Thanks for all you do!
Here's my brief post about Fireproof. I've been telling all my married friends to go see it.

My husband and I drove to a city an hour from our home Monday night to see Fireproof because it was not showing anywhere closer to us. It was our first date in a long time. We absolutely LOVED it! This movie is so powerful and has such a positive message. We have recommended it to our friends and family everywhere. We are so thankful to all of those who were involved in its production and distribution. THANK YOU for a positive and pure movie to see for both entertainment and enrichment!! Keep 'em coming....

My husband and I took our kids to Fireproof last weekend (they are teens) and then this weekend went back with another couple. The theater was even more packed out last night than it was last week on opening night (and it was pretty packed then, too). We do love this movie and recommend it to anyone we have the opportunity to talk to about it. I am so thankful for a Christ-centered church being willing to think "outside the box". There are SO many people being reached through this film. Praise the Lord!! Here is our blog. www.bowmanfamilysix.blogspot.com.
Saw "Fireproof" Sunday evening (9/28) and was very moved by the acting, the action and the storyline. Unfortunately I attended alone. After six years of standing by my man as he moved, increased his income by 300% and left me to raise our daughter alone, he 'left his partner behind'...it is encouraging to see so many couples embracing the new paradigm of a husband dieing to self, living in Christ and bringing healing to his wife and marriage. Powerful! I also just heard that actor Kirk Cameron held true to his marriage vows by working with the producers to have his real life wife stand in for the 'kiss' in the final scenes of the movie. I cried all over again. My review (and over 3000 other positive reviews) can be found on www.fandango.com
I thank God for this movie and all that had a part in making. I pray we will get more movies like this. movies with a message. i pray this movie will impact people's lives and their marriages in a postive way. I pray it will impact our nation
I am in the army from CA, I am currently in WI. I ask a couple from a local church to take me to this movie, and we had to drive two hours to Rochester Minnesota to see it. This movie has changed my life and hopefully I will be kinder to my wife when I get home in July 09. It will Bless Marraiges. Don't forget tissues
I blogged about Fireproof this week. My husband and I lead a marriage ministry at Compass Bible Church and have about 60 married couples attending. We had an activity night where we all went to see the movie together. My blog is at http://thehawleyhome.blogspot.com.
I blogged after seeing it!
