The Weekend Is Here: Time for a Movie!

Like every weekend throughout the year, you have lots of options when it comes to seeing a movie. Hundreds of movies will be released by Hollywood this year—big studios as well as small independent films.

Many even mock your beliefs … some subtly, some with much fanfare.

And then there’s FIREPROOF. If you haven’t seen it yet, make the time this weekend. If you’re wondering if it’s worth the time and money involved, take a look at what these folks say.

If you’re one of the approximately 2 million people that have already seen this movie: thanks!

You know the impact that this story of hope and renewal is having. Do you know someone in your neighborhood, at church, at work, at school, at home that needs to hear this message as well?

Invite them to go see FIREPROOF this weekend. Go with them. Or offer to watch their kids. While it’s still playing in nearly 900 theaters across the country, do whatever you can to get your friends to see FIREPROOF ... a movie that could make a difference in their lives.

After all, it’s not every weekend you can do that!

I saw the movie yesterday! LOVED IT!!! I pray God takes a hold of the movie industry and more Christian actors will be able to make more mainstream films about life with true HOPE that is only through the power of the living God!

My husband and I are going tonight. So many friends have seen in and have said it is an amazing story. I can't wait to go. We rarely get a date night and I think this will bless us a lot more then a trip to Starbucks!

What a wonderful movie! We are praying that God will open the door for these writers/directors to make more Christian movies! Thank you Kirk Cameron also for all of your support and faith in the movie but more importantly the Lord Jesus! God Bless you all that were a part of a wonderful faith based Christian film! God is wonderful!

In Christ, Aaron and Natalie Carrado

I just got home from seeing the movie. It is awesome! I am blown away by what God is doing! The theater was packed out. We actually went last weekend to see it and it was already sold out, so today, we bought our tickets early. We loved it! I know God is changing lives with this movie, and we need more like it.

I saw the movie this week and hope to take my husband to watch it with me before it leaves the theaters. Wow. It really is a powerful story and one that can speak to people on so many different levels. Praying God continues to get the word out. Blessings on all who were involved in the movie!

I met a new friend who invited me to a movie, and I picked Fireproof...having NO idea what He had in store...it was incredibly powerful..people were crying aloud..and my new friend told me over dinner beforehand that she was not a Christian or "not at all religious" and get this..she is engaged to be married next year. God is DEFINITELY working through this movie..THANK YOU!

Just back from seeing the film. My husband and I both LOVED it. We even called people on the way home to say they need to see it. Thank you thank you!

We rarely see movies b/c there's so much trash out there. But we're so glad we went. My husband and I both commented that we felt good leaving the theater. Not that slimy feeling after most of the stuff available.

Thanks for what you do and blessings on you and the film!

Last night we rented out the theater and had 70 couples from our church all see it together. We loved it and people were still raving about the movie this morning at worship. Thank you so much for a quality film which loudly speaks about the good news of Jesus and His plan for our marriages.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this movie. There is a market and a need for Christian-based movies. My husband and I laughed and cried at this movie and were deeply moved by it. I can't wait to get it on DVD for our grown married children. Fireproof is a wonderful movie that was made exceptionally well. Thank you!!

My husband and I absolutely loved the movie!! It was so nice to walk out of a theater on a positive, Christian note!! I am telling everyone about it! We are praying that God will use this movie to strengthen marriages everywhere. Marriage is not always easy but nothing worthwhile is. With God all things are possible and marriages are worth saving! It takes patience, humility, and the Lord's guidance. I know, I about gave up on my marriage. But, God had a different plan and I'm glad I listened to Him!! I will celebrate my 25th anniversary in January '09. God can heal any marriage!! Praise be to God!

Thanks for listening to the Lord and making this film. Our country needs more positive entertainment like this. My husband and I want to go back and take everybody we know to see it again and again. Thanks again!!

I sat in awe Friday night as my story was told on the giant screen in front of me! You guys have outdone yourselves and I have never been so moved. My husband and I are living proof that the Lord can transform a marraige if we allow Him to. I am now a pastor's wife after being 2 weeks away from divorce years ago. God is so good! THANK YOU!

I havent been to the movies in a few months, and my boyfriend really wanted to go to see a movie yesterday. I cant even express how happy I am that we chose to see Fireproof! there were several times that I got teary or laughed out loud during the movie. it was a really good experience. many of my family members had recommended that I see it, and I have already started recommending it, too. I plan, Lord willing, to be married next year, so I thought it was great to see this movie.

Last weekend we went to the theater to see Fireproof. I was expecting a typical 'chick flick' and instead saw a profound look in the mirror. I have since rid my life of parasites and pray it is not too late.

My husband and I saw the movie yesterday - WOW!! My Dad was a fireman for 30 years and afterward we went by my parents house and I thank him for his service and thanked the two of them for staying together for over 46 years now. Thank you for making this movie. I hope that God enables you and many other Christians to step up and make a difference in the movie industry.

TWO WORDS: REAL LOVE! - I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY BUT THAT THIS MOVIE MOVED ME EVEN THOUGH I'M NOT MARRIED. IT SHOWED REALITY AND HOPE IN THE TIMES WE LIVE IN TODAY. VERY RELEVANT TO OUR NATION RIGHT NOW AND I PRAY THAT GOD WILL OPEN THE NATIONS EYES TO WHAT HIS WORD TRULY SAYS. PRAISE TO JESUS AND ALL GLORY TO HIM!

We went on our first "date night" in a long time. We have been married 9 years. We both laughed and cried. We were moved in such a positive way. I have already posted a recommendation on my FaceBook page and sent an email to my friends asking them to go and give me their opinion. I can't wait to buy this movie. Facing the Giants is another family favorite. Thanks for making this movie. More people probably attend the theaters than church, what a great way to give hope in our culture!
